When you hear the term “farmers market,” it’s not surprising if you picture heaps of fresh produce. You’ll certainly see that at the Falls Church Farmers Market, with vendors bring in all sorts of apples, strawberries, chile peppers, and more. That’s not all, though. You’ll also see beef, eggs, pork, and other farm standards, plus a various cheeses, honey, and fish. Some vendors will offer bread and pastries, while others might have pickled products, flowers, or even something special for your pets.

Do you have your own garden at home? If you want some expert insight to make it flourish at its finest, you can speak with the Fairfax County Master Gardeners at the farmers market. The Master Gardeners set up shop at the market each Saturday near the flagpole, and they’ll be ready to answer your gardening questions. Hours and Directions
The Falls Church Farmers Market is open each Saturday. From April to December, it starts at 8 a.m., and from January to March, it opens at 9 a.m. It closes at noon each Saturday. The market is located at 300 Park Avenue, Falls Church, Virginia 22046. You’ll find it in the parking lot of City Hall.
